Baidu is given special state endorsements, permission to skirt copyright laws, network priority (it's not mysteriously blacked out half the time, because it plays well with the Communist Party), and allows the Chinese people to use something distinctly Chinese. We don't need the world's most attenuated homophone to explain why Baidu is beating the pants off of Bing. |
