That said, have you thought about trying to leverage this pool of rich people for positive purpose? Maybe a modern version of the Elks Lodge, Rotary, Masons? I frequently lament the death of those types of networking, community building, service “clubs”. People join for access and interesting interactions, but the organizations themselves do amazing work (scholarships, battling polio, etc.). Just a thought.
