The problem is "live monitoring". The lawsuit is not against businesses providing CCTV footage to the police for investigation. It's also not against police monitoring live CCTV *if* they gets pre-approved. The police simply has to get pre-approved before they can monitor live cameras but they did so without pre-approval. |
