Machines have a lot of advantages though like perfect, practically infinite memory, internet connectivity, the ability to learn from the cumulative experience of millions of humans, specialized sensors, omnidirectional vision, never getting tired, never being inattentive, never being intoxicated. I wouldn't bet against machines' ability to brute force this. The failure modes will be different and scary, but much safer on average. |
