Not that I disagree with the sentiment, but most of this can be accomplished with markdown, git, and things like github pages without building an app.

There's a million different ways to achieve the end result. Using Github as a CMS (if you want to edit your achievements.md file online) for a single page is overkill in my opinion, but it would definitely work.
