I similarly have a “tech blog” that only a couple of non-tech friends know about (admittedly it wouldn’t be hard to find if someone searched for it, but who would want to do that). It’s good writing and thinking practice, especially because when my friends read it they make fun of it in ways that help me clear up my writing, even if they don’t fully understand the content.

Maybe one day I’ll post it to hacker news.
