Agree. They didn't get the memo yet that tech rules the world. These companies are very traditional. Top-heavy, where finance, purchasing and sales dominate the company. That's where all the hot shots are and the big salaries. Meanwhile, IT is an internal "cost centre", a necessary evil, a bunch of resources preferably outsourced. |
