I suppose Google has data on where searches come from and what those searches are. Do they know when searches are coming from Apple Park and what they are and do they do anything with that data?
The exit is usually from their primary data centre and more specifically from their static public IP range there, however, the question still remains I think as google likely knows the IP range right?
Most large corporations maintain different IT and production networks. Your IT network doesn't necessarily sit in your own datacenter. If you use a vendor for the VPN, the exit is likely in the vendor's datacenter and mix together with other client traffic.
