Web 3.0 - Since it will be decentralized, data will be interconnected in a decentralized way: here comes the blockchain and cryptocurrencies in action. Blockchain is federated, distributed, not decentralized. I think people are forming a false dichotomy that if something is not 100% centralized it must therefore be 0% centralized. 0% centralized would require two independent parties agreeing to communicate without third party interconnection and without third party storage. Blockchain is a form of third party storage. |
