For a short while in the 90's there was a software called uTok, it acted as a HTTP proxy for your browsers and modified the HTML of websites to add the users' comments. Yeah this was when not many cared about HTTPS. I remember people attaching comments to headlines on cnn.com's homepage, although that page changes frequently. And of course the comments were political. Hey OP, how will you prevent the lunatics from attacking sites like whitehouse.gov? Edit: the fact that a screenshot of your app shows the page "CNN Facts First: Fact check: Five enduring lies about the Capitol [...]" (showing people they can comment on/criticize/flame war such pages), and that you've mentioned Gab's Dissenter, doesn't inspire me with confidence about your leanings.
