Agreed. Even if you have a contract with x weeks notice period, breaching the contract is a legal move(penalty may vary). I had a non-standard 1 month notice period in my contract(normal is 2 weeks). I let them know I'm leaving in two weeks. They mentioned the notice period but I held my ground. They folded and 2 weeks was plenty to handover my work. |
