The fellowship of Kotlin at Mountain View will ensure that Android Java stays as it is, any further improvement might happen only if the community is very vocal about any Java library on Maven Central that fails to target Android. However they will most likely assign an intern to port it to Kotlin than improve Java's support on Android. |
