I am using MELA https://mela.recipes - also being frustrated with recipes and the amount of unnecessary blabla, this app is awesome. it de-clutters recipes, has a cooking mode (shows you step by step) and a grocery shopping function. It is the same developer as the awesome Reeder RSS app. Very nice design as well. Check it out and happy cooking!
