Doesn't matter if you use BeOS or roll your own Linux distro - the hardware isn't mature enough for distributions that supports sleep states. Good news is, you might be lucky and get decent hardware setup with a functional sleep-module from start. If it does not, get a comfortable couch. (And congrats to the addition! Best of luck and PM me if you need someone to listen to your parental suffering or joys). |
