Can someone explain to me why they are mad? Is it because Mozilla is asking for donations on Twitter? Or it it because Mozilla is accepting crypto?

I don’t think a company accepting crypto as a form of donation is a bad thing tbh. Seems like they’re just trying to allow more people to donate.

Sure seems like crypto is the problem with the "planet-incinerating Ponzi grifters" comment. Some people are opposed to crypto because it uses more energy than other electronic payments.

"more" is a little mild, one can probably power tens of millions of CC transactions with the power a single BTC block wastes
