This year? They are about to delivery 900k+ in 2021 (i.e. this year) and will be 1.5m in 2022. Toyota is declining at 20% annually and Tesla is growing at 50-70% annually. Even if you go with the 2020 number their deliveries were 499647 so rounded to the nearest 1,000 it becomes 500k. Just shows the deep seated bias of anything Gizmodo. |
