There are a few issues. First, Estonia is a small country and it's relatively easier. Second, there's no legacy solution to comply with when a new feature is developed. US has both federal and local government systems, and many agencies with their own services. That creates an overhead for a new and standard[1] solution. [1] https://xkcd.com/927/ |
