Schools are absolutely a big consideration. I live in central Louisiana (schools are ok, not great). I made the move 15 years ago - sorta forced into it, thanks to hurricane Katrina, but it has grown in me. Remote jobs weren't a thing then so I started my own company! I cannot imagine being in the rat race of big cities ever again. |
