Just start by thinking of the positive sides of introversion.

Like, being able to focus for long period of times, being able to sustain long relationships, sounding more human and at ease on 1 on 1 than in groups, being self-reflective and therefore open to change and to put yourself into question.

Being here is just one more symptom of introversion, and here you will hopefully find resources like videos or written advice that will help you handle your feelings.

I wouldn't say you necessarily need to overcome it, but to make your introverted character shine.

An advice from someone who stopped battling hard, and purposedly started finding time for better connection.

This introvert power will make you more confident, rather than just feeling wrong, and then this confidence will make you able to better cope with situations where you need some extroversion and go out of your comfort zone.

With a smile, Paolo.

thanks for the great advice
You're welcome, have a wonderful learning journey and the holiday season!
Better to get correct advice from a therapist, than to begin in the wrong direction via something you don't yet understand. Have patience, and learn as much as you can from professionals. Explore all topics with them and validate your understanding. Don't count strictly on yourself. Good luck.
sure thanks
not sure how you could self diagnose something you don't understand.

and why seemingly your first stop is a social network. go talk to a therapist/shrink/doctor.

The symptoms and the characteristics that was mentioned online matched what I experienced, so that's why i'm confident its that and yes I have began the process to seek professional help, but If you have done any you will know how hard its to get the right one in the first go, so wanted a bit more perspective on what I'm getting into to and whether its helping me or not, that was the intention for seeking help here.
