What's a suggestion for a good MDM solution?
2 points by thegototechguy 1637 days ago
I am running a small computer tuition centre and I've like 40 PCs setup. I know that with MDM we could give restrictions and policies to have some sort of control over the devices. I saw a few like ivanti, hexnode, jamf, etc. Can anyone help with what's the best for me ?

Ivanti (former MobileIron) was introduced to me as the Bentley MDM solution which was totally true. There are newer MDM solutions out there even with their own GitHub repo where they share some of their code.

Windows only or mixed? Only PCs or maybe mobiles (Android/iOS)? Do those PCs have vPro? Is BYOD a thing?

There is no "best" solution. Just the one that works best for you ;)

Hi. It's windows only. As far as I know, the PCs don't have intel vPro.
Jamf is only for Apple devices. Hexnode looks fare.
Thanks. I'm also looking for a solution that isn't too expensive either. Hexnode seems to be budget friendly. Have you had any experience using it? (Feedback from a fellow customer always helps)
Did some research for a client of ours. Suggested it to them. I think they are still using it. Their tech support is really good. I think it's worth checking out.
Thank you. I'll check out Hexnode then.
