the nanopore units are awesome! although if i recall, most of the device is a replaceable one time use consumable and the cost of that consumable is quite expensive (at least hundreds, if not thousands). when i looked i was interested, but was turned off when i saw that the cost far outstripped commercial sequencing services. |
