This reads like it's an improvement for logical qbits, but we still haven't closed in on the holy grail of the completely stable logical qbit. I'm very excited to see progress in the quantum computing space over the next few years, and hope the provability of useful computing can be achieved quite soon.

It's kind of concerning that most of the state of the art research is coming out of private institutions. What is the private timeline executives expect, and what happens to the research if those expectations aren't met? That's partially why I'm hoping to see actual useful application soon, to ensure that private investor attraction stays vested.
