Let's hope for a successful launch and deploy. But as a comment: I really don't like this kind of "all or nothing" projects. Its extremely risky and if it fails, 20 years would be lost and billions of dollars would be lost. I hope once Starship is ready, some billionaire buys a thousand telescopes, throws them into a Starship and flies them all over the solar system. Seriously, its almost 2022. Why do we still only have 1 telescope up there? Why aren't there 100 telescopes on the dark side of the moon? Why aren't there 1000 space probes on their way to leave the solar system? |
