I think the point they’re highlighting is that this is a “free market success story”. The private company did what it wanted (automated moderation), and ultimately the removed post got reinstated anyways. Meaning it’s hypocritical of conservatives to be offended by this. Liberals are less for unregulated free markets, so it isn’t hypocritical of liberals to be for regulation or whatever to prevent private companies from doing this or that. |
