I would wager 'yes' to both of those answers, but I would also somewhat attribute this to the Cult of Productivity, where people want to 'learn' more while spending less time on it. Which, depending on the subject (and I'd wager for most of them), isn't really how you learn at all, and you need to put thought and go slow in things. It's basically another symptom of our culture's ever-increasing rush for things going faster/easier. |
