Actually I wonderd similar. However I guess the resolution comes straight from the marketing department since 16:18 is 16:9+9 which is, as already kinda mentioned in the article, 2x 16:9 screens stacked on top of each other.

I imagine it comes straight from the technical department. I suspect this is literally two 16:9 panels stacked on top of each other.

And worse, it’s 2 x 1440p panels, instead of 2 x 4K panels.

This is a poke in the eye for “retina” users.
