Toward the top or at the top they look at dollars and cents, keeping investors happy. They are too detached from the people actually doing the work to understand when then harshly and coldly grind out a bit more profit for their bonus that actual people, just like them, bear the burden. Toss in all the algorithmic cloud management of the people and they get completely disconnected from their workforce. |
