Personal, professional - what should I start to do? - what am I doing and should I continue? - what should I stop doing?

I like the thread idea, op.

Personally my 2022 goals are a bit hazy as yet. I have some candidates in my notes, but a continuation of the 2021 goals is sounding really tempting [0]. I had a lot of fun with those goals this year. Also, my best, most fulfilling goals for 2021 were added some weeks after the start of the new year.

0. 2021: Return to making more art, Develop more of a childlike sense of play, Learn how to take a nap really easily, Increase stamina, Re-learn a knot from my scouting years.

For the less-specific goals I tend to develop at least simple measuring scales so I can keep track of progress.

Do yourself a favour and keep your goals to yourself.
This is true, studies have shown sharing an incomplete goal reduces your focus and motivation, as if you’ve already achieved it.
I find that if I post my high level goals publicly, I am more likely to complete them so people can see my progress. Anyone else?
You are only accountable to yourself. 99% of goals are to impress people you don't even like. My only metric is to be a little bit better than my previous self, no matter how slow I go to achieve that.
Care to shine some light on some of those personal metrics you like to use?
