I've spent some time with jQuery mobile and the performance is just too poor for it to be usable. What's crazy is that regular jquerymobile.com is more responsive than the 'Docs and Demos' section that is built using jQuery mobile on my phone (Nexus S). I've seen the same sluggishness in jQuery Mobile apps I've tried building on the iPhone4, Palm Pre and a couple of Android devices. It's too bad really. |
