I'm a little confused as well, but 2 things I noticed. 1) It's 2% cut a year, so you save 200B the first year cuts, 160B the second year cuts etc. 2) This calculation is based on happening several years out, with significantly higher military spending. But I still "only" see .65T in savings when they start cutting 2% a year in 2025 from 2.2T budget |
