Most people in the US want to own the house they live in, and most would also want to not move when they move jobs. I think the campus idea would only appeal to younger folks. I'd also not like the idea that my life revolves around work - and this sounds exactly like that. |

A lot of people also don't care about owning a house (at least right now). A lot of people care about forming good relationships, but don't have good ways to do so.
