This is not intended to be disparaging of Indie Hackers at all. I'm trying to figure out if I want to get involved with the Indie Hackers community. It looks really cool; lots of people building in public and working hard to reach their goals.

It's a real community - there's just significantly less new stuff getting posted than before COVID.

Seems to me like most folks eventually either outgrow the community or give up on side projects in general.

Although bad economic times might put stress on solopreneurs in general. Current solopreneurs look for jobs for more security. Employees double down to preserve their jobs.

I wouldn't have thought engagement there would decline from covid.

I didn't mean to imply covid caused the drop, but yeah last time I remember checking indiehackers daily was before the pandemic started.
