I think you're confused. Alibaba is still posting YoY revenue growth of more than 30%. https://www.macrotrends.net/stocks/charts/BABA/alibaba/reven... Of course their stock price has been falling continuously over the past year, but that's down to the company losing favor with investors, who apparently believed that Alibaba was favored by the government and now they believe the opposite. Amusing.

Their 2022 revenue growth is flat based on tikr.com, due to that change in govt situation, hence "hope for growth".
