I hope so, however you can always start a company there and promise to hire Thai. As a foreigner who has not had a company for the last x years (7 I think) in Thailand, you get tax breaks (which are very generous; it amounts to paying nothing) and a visa for you and your family for 7 year or until the company dies (whichever is sooner). I have a handful of mates who did this and it works well. Mostly around Chiangmai where it seems IT and nomand friendly. |
