It's one of those implementational-catnip ideas that steadily converges toward collective bikeshedding whenever it comes up, but which is really tricky to scale/sell/market in practice. So, it hasn't caught on and been soundly disproven. Or maybe it's that it hasn't caught on and then done the whole "oh look at all these other companies that were so head of their time" thing... |
