There are other little things in Portuguese:

I did it myself: Eu fiz eu mesmo/Eu fiz eu mesma.

And most adjectives. Actually, "obrigado" is "obliged" so the phrase "much obliged" is equivalent to the Portuguese "muito obrigado".
