I think the most important thing is to find out what your superior expects you to achieve in the first 1, 3, 6 months, how you can get there and who can help you getting there. Too many people live in fear, because they don't know if they do well. Just ask what people expect! The next important goal might be getting to know the people, their views. Ask a lot of questions. Don't try to seem smart - ask all the dumb question at the beginning. It gets harder to ask them the longer you are on the job. |
