I don't know much about their product, but if I were an investor I'd have a hard time not wanting to fund hackers like that.

If I'm ever an angel, I'll probably have a "write a framework? here's your check" policy.

Interesting, I like building tools, but when it comes to a startup, I would be more cautious if a team came to me with their own framework...

Was all the time spent building the framework worth it because they have new capabilities or was it NIH syndrome?
