As a counterpoint, you don't have to switch distros and wm's. I'm still using the first distro I ever tried (Fedora). I did switch to KDE when GNOME 3 came out, cause I hated GNOME 3. That's the only time I've changed anything in the distro/desktop/wm combo. |
