Hi HN!

Author of Robyn here. I started Robyn this year while I was still a final year university student and have been working on it during the weekends and evenings since I started my day job.

I have tried keeping the API similar to flask to reduce the learning curve and have written a multithreaded runtime in rust to maximise the throughput. This project is still in its early stage but Robyn is definitely one of the fastest Python frameworks(if not the fastest) in my opinion. I have shared the performance comparison on the documentation website as well.
