Not surprising. Anecdotal, but I was once hit by a cab while crossing the street. They were making a left turn. Yes, it was 2AM and I was wearing dark clothes but still, there was plenty of light at that intersection and it's not like I jumped out of nowhere (I had already walked more than halfway across the street before I was suddenly on the car's hood and then of course on the asphalt). Luckily for me I didn't suffer any injuries (that I know of). |
