Survey shows only 5% of people in Taiwan think they are Chinese and not Taiwanese. What you are referring to is the de jure side of things. Taiwan is a de facto sovereignty and doesn't not have border dispute with India or building islands in SCS. > They claim the CCP has been too soft on maintaining Chinese territorial sovereignty.
