When I lived in Perth about a decade ago, I had a DSL line from an exchange about 3-ish km away. If I remember correctly, I got 512kbps down, and 56k modem speeds up. This was not outer-whoop-whoop either. Metro Perth. Telstra. Ya gotta love 'em. |
