I use WD-40 for my bike chain specifically because it's not an oil and because it dries out fast. This helps prevent gunk build up and makes cleaning the drive train a lot easier. I clean and reapply after/before every ride. Will consider switching to a more environmentally friendly alternative though after reading this thread. |
