I used to think these were dumb gadgets. My dentist kept telling me, without asking if I was using one, that I should get one.

One day I decided to give it a try. A few months later, for my next visit, he didn't bring it up.

My conclusion was that he could genuinely tell, when cleaning my teeth that I had been using one. Therefore they must really be better at cleaning. I stuck to it and can't complain.
