Most of the stories I've read online have been positive about their land. I recently left my job at Google, and yours is a sobering tale that one should not take their comfortable job for granted. I'm giving myself 1 year to see if I can manage on my own, but if that doesn't work out, I'll probably return to a FAANG company. I do believe that those kinds of jobs are the best risk-adjusted ROI if you're trying to make money. But sometimes you just need to get the startup out of your system. |
