I live in Rotterdam and have been following the riots (these were NOT protests) closely. The rioters consisted mainly of football hooligans and youths with a migration background. This had nothing to do with anything other than taking the frustration about the 2G approach to the pandemic and the announced ban on fireworks on New Years Eve to the street. The destruction of public and private property is immense. Are you sure you want to blame the dockworkers for that? |
