The title is misleading if not outright incorrect. The Wirecutter Union is asking people to refrain from buying through Wirecutter in support of their walkout.
Yeah, its a picket line for the union to get their raises. Wirecutter is owned by NYT and they made a billion in cash this last year and it sounds like no one is getting anything for it.
