Not referring to https://old.reddit.com I assume?
you’re kind of forced to use a redirect extension if you use old reddit. its sort of a pain in the ass.
There is an "Opt out of redesign" setting and some others that also affect the old website that are only available on https://new.reddit.com/settings.
'old' is the only way to go
