If the choice you're complaining about is bringing in slaves, that choice was made by the homogeneous English immigrants. So apparently homogeneity doesn't always lead to good choices. Consistently practicing the Christian values they preached might have, though. So really this is just another point for common culture > ethnic homogeneity. |

The Christians were against the slave trade and fight against it.
You may be talking about the "Jesus Company" where its founder was a converso (converted) [1].
You may consider that the `the homogeneous English immigrants` were the only ones to BAN and forbid the slave trade.
